Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Gnara ("we") handles personal data collected through gnara.ai. We process personal data in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and other applicable laws.

What we collect

  • Expert applicants: name, email, country, qualification, field, experience, LinkedIn URL, private PDF resume, education and work history, languages and proficiency, residence and physical working location, date of birth, phone / WhatsApp number, work-authorization attestations, typed signature, signature timestamp and IP address when available, terms version, chosen track, assessment answers and written response, and referral code used.
  • Business leads: name, work email, company, role, services of interest, estimated volume and your message.
  • Usage data: campaign parameters (UTM), the referring website, and clicks on roles listed on our Roles board. If analytics tools are enabled, they may set cookies.

How we use it

We use applicant data only to evaluate applications and match verified experts to projects, and business-lead data only to respond to your enquiry and provide our services. Usage data helps us understand which channels work.

Consent and legal basis

By submitting a form you consent to this processing for the purposes above. You may withdraw consent at any time by emailing us.

We don't sell your data

We never sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who host and operate the Site on our behalf, under confidentiality obligations, or where required by law. We don't share applicant details with client companies without your agreement.

Retention and security

Resumes are stored privately and accessible only to you and authorised reviewers. We use your date of birth to confirm eligibility, your location and signature to record work authorization, and your phone number for project communications. Deleting your account also deletes your stored resume. We delete these records on request, subject to applicable legal retention obligations. We keep data only as long as needed for these purposes, and protect it with access controls so only authorised Gnara reviewers can see applications and leads.

Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and nominate someone to exercise these rights. To make a request — including deletion — email hello@gnara.ai from the address you used. We'll respond within a reasonable time.

Contact and grievances

For any privacy question or grievance, contact hello@gnara.ai. We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do.
